How does Shirdi's solar kitchen work?

Shirdi's Sai temple not only draws thousand of devotees ,has world's one of the largest solar power project ,which was installed in 2014. This solar concentrator act as solar steam generator to cook food devotees that visits the temple.

the total steam generation capacity is of around 4200 kg/day which is used to cook food for 25000 individuals that visit Sai temple daily. around more than 2 tonnes of rice are served daily. this so far trust has saved around 80 lakh till this date.

The sunlight is being concentrated on 73 solar dishes making 42000 kg of steam and each pate is around 16 square meter in size.
